Sales Manager

GRC Qingdao

GRC Qingdao is seeking a Sales Manager.  In the role, the Sales Manager is repsponsible for:

  1. Find develop and nurture trusting relationships that can be efficiently identified, understood and communicated then transformed into an innovative value proposal that achieves positive acceptance and exceeds both Grand Rapids Controls Qingdao and Grand Rapids Controls Company LLC Rockford North America’s expectations. This is followed by continued service and nurturing of GRC customers.
  2. Establish long term opportunities for developing, designing and quoting new and existing projects at current and potential new customers including OEM, tier one and tier two customers.
  3. From time to time production, delivery and quality issues will have to be worked on and dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Sales manager will efficiently communicate solutions and act as liaison between customer and the producing GRC plant.
  4. Sales Manager will understand the requirements through communications with GRC’s General Manager and Director of Sales in GRC North America for selling cables and be able to negotiate firmly yet fairly with GRC’s current and potential customers.
  5. Sales Manager will obtain general knowledge of GRC’s China competitors and their relative capabilities.
  6. Sales Manager will participate in the creation as well as meet and / or exceed GRC’s sales and marketing annual sales plan when established and available.
  7. Sales Manager will set up and provide sales reporting to GRC Qingdao and GRC Rockford North America. Participate in regular teleconferences with GRC Qingdao and GRC Rockford North America.
  8. Responsible for the management and direction of all field sales and account managers. Provides direction, counsel and guidance.
